Police said they received reports of a small explosion in the Benmore Court area of Newry at about 0400 BST on Saturday. A PSNI spokesperson said damage was caused to the letter-box of the house and Army bomb experts were called to examine a device. The remains of the object were found to be from a pipe-bomb.
